    Detailed Job Description:

    We are looking for a Senior Linux Systems Administrator/Engineer with over 8 years of experience in Red Hat Linux administration to join our team in Bangalore.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of Red Hat Linux servers.


    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Linux servers.
    • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of Linux servers.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux servers.
    • Implement and maintain security measures for Linux servers.
    • Collaborate with other teams to support application requirements on Linux servers.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
    • Document system configurations and procedures.

    Mandatory Skills:

    • 8+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
    • Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux administration.
    • Experience with Linux server virtualization (e.g., KVM).
    • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation.

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
    • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification or equivalent.

    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
