    Description

    Role Overview :

    • We are seeking a skilled SDET / QA Engineer with expertise in automation testing, particularly within the Ecommerce domain.
    • As a member of our QA team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Ecommerce platform.
    • You will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests, utilizing tools such as Playwright and TypeScript to validate the functionality and performance of our web applications.

    Key Responsibilities :

    SDET / QA Automation :
    Develop and maintain automated test suites to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our Ecommerce platform.

    You will leverage your expertise in SDET/QA automation to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient test execution.

    Playwright Automation :
    Utilize Playwright, an open-source automation framework, to automate browser interactions and perform end-to-end testing of web applications.

    You will create and maintain Playwright scripts to simulate user actions and verify application behavior.

    Typescript :

    Apply your proficiency in TypeScript, a statically typed superset of JavaScript, to write clear, maintainable, and efficient automation scripts.

    TypeScript will be used extensively for developing test scripts and automation frameworks.

    Ecommerce Domain Expertise :

    Demonstrate a strong understanding of Ecommerce concepts, including product catalog management, shopping cart functionality, checkout processes, payment gateways, and user account management.


    • You will apply your domain knowledge to design and execute relevant test scenarios.

    Test Planning and Execution :

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, create test plans, and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.

    You will ensure that all aspects of our Ecommerce platform meet quality standards and user expectations.

    Defect Management :

    Identify, report, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle, working closely with developers and stakeholders to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner.


    Continuous Improvement :
    Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in QA automation and Ecommerce technologies.

    You will actively contribute to improving our testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.


    Must Have Skills :

    SDET / QA Automation :
    Proven experience in SDET/QA automation, with a focus on developing and executing automated test scripts.

    Playwright Automation :
    Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks for web application testing.

    TypeScript :
    Strong proficiency in TypeScript for writing automation scripts and test frameworks.

    Ecommerce Domain :
    Solid understanding of Ecommerce concepts and processes, with previous experience in testing Ecommerce platforms or applications.


    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
    • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
