    Role Description:

    • This is a full-time onsite role for a Back End Developer at Workassist in Pune.
    • As a Back End Developer, your main tasks will involve backend web development and software development on a day-to-day basis.
    • You'll work with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration between the front and back end of web applications.
    • Delivering on critical business priorities while evolving the platform towards its strategic vision.
    • Working closely with product managers, end users, and business analysts to understand business objectives and key success measures.
    • Partnering with technology teams to design and architect solutions that align with Barclays Architecture, Data, and Security standards, using the best technology available.
    • Developing and testing resilient, scalable, and reusable services and APIs/data pipelines using the latest frameworks and libraries, following development standards.
    • Implementing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using the latest DevOps tools.
    • Creating and managing relevant application documentation proactively.
    • Participating in Scrum ceremonies and conducting sprint demos for stakeholders.
    • Leading and managing the application's health and platform stability by reviewing technical debt, operational risks, and vulnerabilities proactively.

    Qualifications:

    • Back-End Web Development and Software Development expertise.
    • Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
    • Understanding of Front-End Development and Programming.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Experience with database technologies like SQL or NoSQL.
    • Proficiency in version control systems, e.g., Git.
    • Experience in API development and integration.
    • Familiarity with security and data protection concepts.
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
