    Overview:

    The SeniorAccounts Associate plays a crucial role in the organizationsfinance department overseeing the financial activities ensuringaccuracy and supporting the management decisions. This positionrequires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understandingof accounting principles.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Manage and overseethe daily operations of the accounting department includingaccounts payable accounts receivable and general ledgerfunctions
    • Prepare and review financialstatements and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance withregulations
    • Conduct financial analysis tosupport decisionmaking and identify areas for cost reduction orrevenue enhancement
    • Assist in budgetpreparation and monitoring providing valuable financial insights tothe management team
    • Perform regular accountreconciliations ensuring discrepancies are resolved in a timelymanner
    • Manage and maintain accurate anduptodate financial records anddocumentation
    • Coordinate with external auditorsand tax consultants during annual audits and taxfilings
    • Supervise and mentor junior accountingstaff providing guidance and support
    • Implementand maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets andensure compliance with regulations
    • Assist indeveloping and improving accounting processes and systems toenhance efficiency and accuracy
    • Participate infinancial projects providing valuable insights and analysis tosupport strategic initiatives
    • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to ensure financial processes align withorganizational objectives
    • Stay updated onindustry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensurecompliance
    • Support the finance leadership inspecial projects and adhoc analysis asrequired
    • Contribute to a positive andcollaborative work environment within the accountingteam

    RequiredQualifications:

    1. Subject Matter Expertfor International and Domestic Airline refundprocess
    2. Basic Knowledge of GDS(Amadeus/Galileo)
    3. Airline DebitNotes
    4. Fare Rules of International Airlines(specifically Refund related)
    5. Skilled inliaison with Sales/Ticketing/Airlines andSupplier
    6. Updating Revenue reports whenevernecessary
    7. BSP Reconciliation and settlementprocess

    UKprocess based travel IndustryLooking forimmediate joinersShould be from travelindustry onlyAdditional knowledge of Penguinfor both will be anadvantage.
