    Description

    Job Purpose:

    • To review and assess risk management policies and protocols; make recommendations and and improvements in risk management solutions such as policies, business continuity plans, or recovery measures.
    • You will be an integral part of the organizations risk strategy roadmap designed to build a best-in-class risk management tools.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Work with Business managers, Operations, Support functions to update key risks and mitigation plans, control measures and identify metrics to monitor risks.
    • Be able to drive changes to policies when warranted by monitoring risks
    • Prepare and present the findings on risk managements to stakeholders
    • Handle audits (internal, external, RBI, etc.).

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    A few examples of the projects are listed below:

    • Build and periodically update Risk register as per RBI norms.
    • Evaluate availability of controls mentioned in Risk register using Risk control self-assessment, heat maps on process deviations, tracking audit observations.
    • Design templates to monitor new and emerging risks through process of discussions with risk owners
    • Build data on risk events, risk scores and use them to revisit risk thresholds

    Experience:

    3 – 5 years of post-qualification domain experience is a must. Work experience in Audit, compliance, credit domains will be preferred.

    Education / Preferred Qualifications:

    • Chartered or Cost Accountant (CA Inter pass with experience in risk consulting / audit of listed NBFCs/ working in an NBFC – can also be considered)
    • BA (Economics/Statistics) /B.Com

    Core Competencies:

    • Working experience of MS – Office Tools,
    • Knowledge of RBI norms, NBFCs and audit processes .
    • Experience in handling credit/ operations/ risk management / audit of NBFC or banks.

    Technical Competencies (List the technical knowledge and skills required for this position.)

    • Working knowledge of MS office products
    • Good liaison skills
    • Good communication skills
    • Team working skills
    • Willingness to take responsibility and work in set timelines
