They areseeking a key engineering position within the TechnologyOrganization: A Business Intelligence Developer as a direct reportof the Head of Information Solutions.

The role will support theevolution of the Information Solutions function which isfoundational to thebusiness.

Information Solutions isresponsible for the delivery and operation of Data ArchitecturePipelines Platforms and Analytic Solutions in alignment with thefirms Data Strategy.

By working withkey stakeholders across the enterprise the role is responsible forestablishing and supporting modern data engineering practices forthe firm.

Strong collaborative partnerships with differenttechnology engineering & operations groups will befundamental for success.

The role willwork to realize these solutions through data acquisition across awide portfolio of source systems data preparation and datavisualization providing information that is both relevant andactionable.

Youmust be a Power BI Developer. Analysts will not beaccepted.

JobResponsibilities

Design anddevelop data ETL routines to integrate data from disparate sourcesystems into an integrated business intelligence environmentincluding defining sourcetotarget mappings business rules and otherrequired datatransformations

Developdashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI SSRS or other BItechnologies.

Ensuring thequality of the data through utilization of process andtechnology

Participationin actively formulating and maintaining both a data catalog and adatadictionary

Providing datamarts and data lakes to support businessinitiatives

Conductbusiness analysis to define the required data to fulfill onbusinessrequirements

Meet withCustomers to understand business problems and questions exploringoptions to model data driven platforms used for analyzinganswers

Become atrusted partner for Customers who translates business problems intoanalysis; then helps interpret the analysis into actionablesteps

Activelyparticipate in the design development and maintenance of complex BIDashboards Reports Queries and integratedapplications

Manage otherresources to complete the development work needed to deliver therequired product to theclient

Analyze andshare results with users to ensure content meets businessrequirements; and train users to facilitate adoption andunderstanding of BI reports andtools

Proactivelyinitiate projects and analysis targeting opportunities for revenuegrowth risk mitigation and operationalefficiency

Providetechnical support of the Microsoft PlatformSoftware

Comprehensivedata analysis and design experience with full knowledge of datawarehouse & data mart methodologies as well analysismodeling

Lead solutionand design sessions for end to end for data integrationefforts

Delivertechnical innovations in support of business growth; progressingideas from concepts to full scale implementation with focus onflexibility reuse and overarchingextensibility.

EssentialSkills

35 years ofexperience in the Microsoft business intelligence platformincluding SQL Server databases SQL Server Integration ServicesPower BI/SSRS & SSAS and/or Azure CloudServices

35 years ofbuilding and maintaining data integrationprocesses

23 yearssupporting large scale data integration and ETL processes includingdaily monitoring and operationalsupport

Strongexperience working in data warehousearchitectures

Experiencebuilding formatted paginated reports using MSSSRS

Experience withPowerBI dashboard development or experience with one or more BIreporting tools like QlikView/QlikSenseTableau Micro Strategy Open Source reporting is aplus

Experience withthe PowerBI CloudServices

Significantexperience in the design and development of data integrationsolutions and dataanalysis

Expert inautomating data integrationroutines

Expert inoptimization of data integration processing and databasedesign

Expertise indesigning and developing dashboards reports analytics and datavisualizationsolutions.

Experience increating dimensional data models across multiple subject areas is aplus

Strong commandof MS Excel

Experience andfamiliarity with processes platforms andstakeholders

Excellentwritten and oral communicationskills

Excellenttechnical documentationskills

Ability to workindependently in a fast paced environment with minimum over sight.
You would own building a future proof integration architecture tosolve integration needs acrossprojects.

Balances avariety of competing goals in a design including project time scopeand budget constraints and system performance message verbosity andloosecoupling.

Some experiencewith advanced analytics tools and languages such as R Python ScalaSAS andothers

12 yearsexperience working in a DevOps environment and understanding of theassociated tools and capabilities and value of using thisapproach

12 years ofcloudbased data platforms (such as Azure AWS Snowflake)

12 years usingCI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) methods fordeployment

12 years usingcloud data integrationpipelines

Experiencesetting up and managing Power BI Report server is aplus.

Experienceworking in data lakes and reference dataenvironments
