    Requirements

    Theposition:

    Weare looking for a Senior ETL Developer with a strong background inplanning developing executing and optimising ETL workflows andtransformations. In your role as Senior ETL Developer you willoversee the planning creation and implementation of innovative dataintegration solutions making sure they meet corporate goals andindustry standards. To comprehend data needs and provide reliableETL solutions you will work closely with crossfunctional teams madeup of data engineers analysts and business stakeholders. The idealapplicant will be wellversed in data warehousing principles andtechniques in addition to having extensive understanding of ETLtools and technologies particularly Talend. You should also be ableto work well in a fastpaced atmosphere have a high attention todetail and thrive atproblemsolving.


    KeyResponsibilities:
    • CreateDevelop Implement and Enhance ETL transformations andworkflows.
    • Proficiencyand background in developing and implementing Talend ETL migrationprojects
    • Possessa good foundation of practical Talend Studio knowledge includingwriting ETL with components and contextvariables.
    • Putin place guidelines and policies for tool setups and ETLdevelopment.
    • Takeon the role of subject matter expert whenrequired.
    • Takeresponsibility for and actively oversee customerdeliverables.

    Requiredskills andqualifications:

    • Abachelors degree in computer science or a similar discipline isrequired foreducation.
    • Atleast six years of expertise with relational database technology(Snowflake MySQL PostgreSQLpreferable).
    • SQLproficiency and familiarity with databases for data extractiontransformation and loading such as Snowflake PostgreSQL MySQL andSQL Server amongothers.
    • Conceptualknowledge of data modelling and handson experience creating datamodels for ETL and data warehousingoperations.
    • Comprehensiveunderstanding of the Talend ETL tool and practical expertise withit including the ability to create and implement intricate ETL jobsuse components manage metadata and maximizeperformance.
    • Thecapacity to create effective ETL procedures that extract data fromseveral sources modify it as needed to meet business needs and thenload it into the desired data warehouse ordatabase.
    • Recognizesthe typical designs for data transfer (such as ETL ELT and ETLT)and knows when and how to useeach.
    • Knowledgeof data quality principles and expertise putting data governanceand quality checks into effect in ETLprocesses.
    • Expertisein data manipulation and ETL process automation using scriptinglanguages such as Python Java andShell.
    • Knowledgeof big data technology for handling massive amounts of data such asNoSQLdatabases.

Conceptualknowledge of data modelling and hands-on experience creating datamodels for ETL and data warehousing operations. Comprehensiveunderstanding of the Talend ETL tool and practical expertise withit, including the ability to create and implement intricate ETLjobs, use components, manage metadata, and maximize performance.The capacity to create effective ETL procedures that extract datafrom several sources, modify it as needed to meet business needs,and then load it into the desired data warehouse or database.Recognizes the typical designs for data transfer (such as ETL, ELT,and ETLT) and knows when and how to use each. Knowledge of dataquality principles and expertise putting data governance andquality checks into effect in ETL processes. Expertise in datamanipulation and ETL process automation using scripting languagessuch as Python, Java, and Shell.
