    Description

    ABOUT ROLE

    Plivo is looking to hire someone who wants to influence their own growth in areas of design as a part of the marketing function. If you are looking for an opportunity where you can pursue your design interests across business lines and where a title doesn't define who you are but a stepping stone to something bigger.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Take charge and lead a small marketing design team and become more effective by incorporating best practices
    • Set team goals, measure performance, and elevate the quality bar of the team while taking ownership of deliverables.
    • Expected to represent depth in the craft of visual design: as an individual contributor, as a mentor and guide for more junior colleagues, team and peer functions
    • Take leadership to express and communicate a brand through distinct graphics, patterns, motion, interaction, and creative methods.
    • Work in partnership with cross-functional leadership
    • Optimize on project management and maintain a high quality of deliverables from start to finish
    • Understand and evolve the brand standards and guidelines of all products
    • Experience with diverse content and subject matter
    • The ability to clearly present your point of view, express ideas, and accept feedback

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 7+ years of experience
    • Can work on website, branding projects, marketing campaigns, and social media video collateral.
    • Strong understanding of design patterns, colour theory, typography, illustrations, and iconography with great attention to detail and consistency
    • Demonstrate senior working experience as a visual/UI designer with a strong portfolio supporting your meticulous attention to details
    • Knowledge of design processes, particularly as applied to marketing deliverables
    • Knowledge of capabilities and limitations in Web development such as HTML and CSS
    • Ideally worked in a startup or tech company to help adjust to the pace and autonomy at Plivo

    Tools

    • Proficiency in current design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Suite, Figma, AI design tools, etc.
    • Good old' pen and paper or whiteboarding to define concepts
