    Job Description :

    Responsibilities :

    Business focus :
    Handle budget planning, spending, and tracking for your area of responsibility.

    Business focus :
    Set up the processes and OKRs to enable the timely delivery of projects with high quality.

    Delivery :

    You would be required to own customer deliverables and ensure, along with project managers, that the project schedules are in line with the expectations set for the customers.


    Delivery :

    Partner with the delivery team to collate, analyze, and present data and drive clear insights to lead decisions that improve KPIs.


    People management :
    Team building Identify the right talent to build the team to solve customer problems

    People management :
    Build a training program to help tailor the talent for project success VP - Engineering www.smartship

    People management :
    Mentorship Mentor, and grow the Engineering team to lead up the projects.

    People management :
    Provide guidance and mentorship to less-experienced team members.

    Technical Focus :
    Management knowledge in data system development, software development, and deployment.

    Technical Focus :

    Ability to dive into details with engineers and distill to a high level for executives, customers, and non-technical audiences.


    Technical Focus :
    Oversee Architecture and design of technically robust, flexible, and scalable solutions.

    Technical Focus :

    Align with Technical leadership to influence, guide, and champion the adoption of best practices to build scalable architecture through the process.

    To be able to perceive technical objectives and be able to clearly articulate them for the team.

    Technical Focus :

    Work with the team members on the detailed architecture of the proposed solution/feature and advise on best practices and direction.


    Requirements :

    • A 15+ year track record of relevant work experience and a Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required.
    • A dynamic leader who has directly managed a team of highly competent developers, and analysts in the fastpaced work environment.
    • Strong leadership skills.
    • Strong project management skills with experience in delivering highquality projects on time.
    • Experience in building, leading, and managing large multiengineer projects and mentoring topnotch engineers in consulting companies.
    • Development and support experience in the Web domain with experience in delivering highperformance systems.
    • Architecting, developing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and highly scalable systems on the cloud.
    • Experience with database modeling and development, data mining, and warehousing.
    • Must be handson with a few web technologies, but be aware of the changing landscape to accommodate new ones.

    Education :
    B.E. Computer Science.
