    Description

    mandala , based out of Delhi, is an award-winning independent lighting studio known for crafting immersive light atmospheres and spatial experiences.

    As we continue to push the boundaries and explore the myriad possibilities of light in the creative realm, we are looking to build on our team.

    Responsibilities
    As a senior Lighting Designer, you head the complete management of the project.

    You play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the project(s) - anchoring the project from concept to commissioning; team leading and mentoring; along with coordinating and interfacing with other collaborators on the project.

    Preferred location of work is Mandala's New Delhi studio; however, we are open to exploring remote working options for candidates who demonstrate the ability to take on responsibilities and manage projects independently.

    Qualifications

    at least 4 years of experience of working as a Lighting Designer – with experience in all stages of the design process from concept development through technical design to commissioning.

    role as a team/project leader would be an advantage.
    a creative mind with strong conceptual design thinking
    Excellent visual communication skills, both digital and on paper
    Effective communicator across all levels, with exceptional interpersonal and people management skills
    Proficiency in design software like Photoshop, CAD and Dialux Evo or similar lighting simulation software.
    Working knowledge of 3D software packages would be an advantage.
    Working knowledge of relevant lighting codes, standards, and best practices
