Purpose of the Job:

We are seeking a Merchandiser to join and develop the existing department.

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser who has a proven track record of high performance in a high profile merchandising role in Jewellery sector.

Responsibilities:

Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans in communication with buyers;
Liaising with buyer on regular basis for new product buying
Maintaining a comprehensive analytical data;
Forecasting profits and sales, and optimizing the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas
Managing orders and accounting for the customers
Coordinating with CAD team and production team to bring out the production on time and effectively.
Analysing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colors or styles) and ensuring that bestsellers reach their full potential
Analysing previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines
Good story teller so generate stories for items
Creative thinker to generate new concepts

Preferred Qualifications & Key Competencies:

12 years' experience in merchandising
Experience in customer data analysis
Preferred knowledge of gemstone and jewelry products.
A clear understanding of the market and competition
Ability to learn, energetic and positive attitude

- must be highly organized with great attention to detail
- the ability to build trust, exhibit integrity, operate fairly, and demonstrate professionalism with clients.
