    Project Engineer SIS

    You will be working as Project Engineer SIS and will be part of Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for completing assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and cybersecurity policies and standards.

    Your responsibilities

    • Evaluating, selectin and applies standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments
    • Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities
    • Preparing project documentation within one's scope of deliverables
    • Participating in project meetings and resolves any outstanding technical issues to meet contractual obligations
    • Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines
    • Ensuring that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements

    Your background

    • Bachelor's degree in instrumentation / electronics / electrical engineering
    • Require minimum 10 years of experience in design, engineering, testing and commissioning experience of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) in oil and gas production / refining / petrochemical industry
    • Knowledge of instrument maintenance practices
    • Experienced in the selection, specification, configuration, testing and maintenance of safety instrumented systems (SIS) following IEC 61508/ 61511
    • TUV FS Engineer Certification
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
