    Job Introduction

  • Support production of ALCO reporting with support of other members in the team, manage treasury risks in the business and provide ALCM components to regulatory and financial consolidated reporting.
  • Liaise with the business, EXCO and Board, to communicate all regulatory parameters in place across liquidity, capital and interest rate risk are met.
  • Support in the capital funding plan and ensure optimum utilisation of the capital.
  • Develop good understanding of the local and group RWA and actively participate in RWA monitoring working group.
  • Deliver net interest income metrics for each business line to senior management and engage with business to drive right pricing.
  • Lead teams and provide guidance to compile ALCM notes and disclosures for financial and regulatory consolidated reporting.
  • Represent HSBC in regular meetings with external regulators, auditors and ratings agencies.
  • Principal Responsibilities

  • Transfer Pricing and Structural Interest rate risk management
  • ALCO Process
  • Engagement with global lines of business and product teams to assess their performance and plans and align the HBAP INM ALCM plans in line with the same
  • Design ALCM and related policies to support business growth while ensuring fair treatment and approach to all business groups, while taking a Bank level view on balance sheet related matters and ensuring the policies are in line with local regulatory and Group prescribed requirements
  • Manage the ALCO process for HBAP INM and Drive execution of ALCO decisions and operational effectiveness
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrate the qualities needed to serve as a trusted advisor and partner to operating management and the ability to help solve business issues by drawing upon on financial analysis
  • Adopt a proactive approach to improve working relationships and teamwork across teams and with GFC staff.
  • Requirements
  • 5 – 10 years of experience
  • Post graduate degree
