Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Oversee the maintenance of accurate inventory records.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment. Implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and losses.
Staff Supervision and Training:
Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure all employees understand their responsibilities.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve team performance.
Customer Service:
Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
Train staff on effective customer service techniques and problem-solving skills.
Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation:
Plan and implement visual merchandising strategies to maximize sales.
Ensure the store layout is optimized for easy navigation and product visibility.
Monitor cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Implement promotions, discounts, and marketing initiatives to drive sales.
Operational Efficiency:
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to streamline processes.
Optimize store workflows to improve efficiency and productivity. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Budgeting and Financial Management:
Prepare and manage the store budget, including expenses and revenue forecasts.
Monitor expenses and identify opportunities to reduce costs. Analyze financial reports and take corrective actions as needed to meet targets.
Security and Loss Prevention:
Implement security measures to prevent theft and minimize losses. Train staff on security procedures and protocols.
Conduct regular audits and surveillance to identify potential risks
Vendor Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate pricing and terms to optimize profitability.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Encourage innovation and creativity among staff to enhance the store's competitiveness.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in retail management, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving operational excellence.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of retail industry trends, best practices, and regulations.
Salary:
₹15, ₹30,000.00 per month
