    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Establish effective packaging data management to realize high quality packaging data assets.
    • Provide analytical information to help drive operational decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Establish superior digital capabilities including profound data analytics.
    • Develop and implement a data management and governance strategy to strive for excellence and unveil potential digital opportunities.
    • Leads the creation and maintenance of bill of materials (BOM), Packaging specifications, packaging drawings and sustainability Information leveraging data.
    • Assures continues data verification and integrity to guarantee data is complete, accurate, available and accessible.
    • Continually identify packaging optimization opportunities in both, material and dimension but also in terms of financial saving opportunities
    • Collaborate with the Packaging organization as well as all cross-functional internal and external partners such as vendors, material suppliers etc.
    • Create, monitor and approve Packaging Specifications as part of product development and/or product change management.
    • Handling specification creation of various packaging components in the Global Specification Management system.
    • Updating of system and coordinating for approval as a final step of the process.
    • Analyzing the data currently available in the system and identifying the gaps to clean up and update the specification management system.
    • Collecting the relevant information and documents related to the packs from suppliers and validating the provided data.
    • Rectifying and updating the data in the system for current as well as newly developed packs.
    • Oversee the development of packaging solutions and implement initiatives to optimize costs.
    • Provide support to the PD team on writing the GSM spec
    • keying in the data into GSM (and get approval)
    • Manage to archive the specs & artwork, and provide the spec data to PD whenever they need.
    • stronger and more accountable to support specs(start to manage the excel spec – not to wait for JDE linkage to start spec work)

    Key Skills:

    • Experienced Packaging Professional with Flexible & Rigid Packaging background
    • Awareness on Industry Best Practices.
    • Excellent IT knowledge, analytics & reporting skills with Specification Management tools experience
    • A positive, proactive and flexible personality with the ability to integrate with Packfora & Client values & beliefs.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and high degree of customer focus.
