    Key Responsibilities

    • Carry out area-level audits as per the approved annual audit plan, covering processes at the area or branch level like Sales, Credit, Collections, Residual Management, RCU, Admin, HR, Finance & Accounts, IT, and Legal.
    • Collaborate with senior management to define the audit scope.
    • Conduct process and system walkthroughs, and develop the Risk & Control Matrix.
    • Prepare audit observation reports and review findings with process owners.
    • Execute audits using the audit system, ensuring adherence to all steps, workflow, and documentation standards.
    • Travel to locations for area audits or special assignments assigned by management.
    • Proactively update senior management on any significant findings during audits.
    • Maintain regular communication with other functions and process owners, staying abreast of company developments and staying informed on regulatory and technological shifts in the industry.

    Job Requirements

    • CA / MBA / Commerce Graduate
    • Minimum 5 - 6 years of experience, with previous exposure to Area Audits / Branch Audits in Banking / NBFC domain
    • Preferably acquainted with risk-based audit and area/branch audits, though solid underwriting experience (Retail, Rural, Commercial, etc) may also be considered
    • Comprehensive understanding of the operations of Banks / NBFCs, the goals and connections of different functions, and the core risks associated with audit processes is essential
    • Strong listening and analytical skills; Keen attention to detail; Excellent Communication & Interpersonal abilities.
