    Description

    Team Leader - Rooms Controller

    Company: Andaz Delhi

    Location: New Delhi

    Job Title: Entry Level Manager - Full-time

    • Checking room blocking for present day, next day and seven days out.
    • Assigning rooms according to guest requests and preferences whenever possible.
    • Preparing key packets and pre-registering designated guests.
    • Coordinating check-in/pre-registration procedures for arriving groups.
    • Reviewing/Tracking/Accommodating requests for room/check-out changes.
    • Verifying and adjusting billing for guests.
    • Activating room keys, securing valid payment, and handling all check-ins/check-outs.
    • Coordinating daily arrivals and departures, communicating all guest requests, and ensuring optimum guest service and satisfaction.
    • Screening/merging/tracing and alerting for arrivals of present day, next day and seven days out.
    • Checking credit limits and following up with guests on high balances.
    • Coordinating with Housekeeping for VIPS, Elite, and special requests.
    • Screening arrivals and coordinating room blocks accordingly.
    • Efficiently managing elite guests, long-stay guests, and suite arrivals.
    • Minimizing out-of-service and out-of-order rooms by coordinating with Housekeeping and Engineering.
    • Managing next day departures and facilitating timely messaging.
    • Welcoming and acknowledging all guests, addressing their service needs, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
    • Managing inventory, following up on room status, and coordinating with other departments for seamless operations.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
    • Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
    • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrate a growth mindset.
    • Ability to coach, mentor & empower the team.
