    Manager - Business Development


    Detailed Responsibilities:

    • Coown the distribution agenda in the region, along with the RSM, both in quantity & quality. This includes (and is not limited to) outlet expansion, numeric distribution, AW quality & stability, ROIs, subsidy reduction, consolidation, distribution experiments like ZDI, Rural distribution footprint & quality of RPDs, secondary sales capture automation and building an intelligent data driven nimble organization
    • BDM is first person responsible for Diary & Adjacency (New Categories) business scaling up of this business is very crucial to Britannia Total Foods company strategy. Formulate strategy for Dairy distribution expansion & focus on execution by engaging with Team through various interventions (Regional or National). Equip sales team with capability for selling Dairy & Adjacency
    • In Britannia new launches & Innovation is way of life. BDM has to champion this agenda of driving growths through successful execution of GTM in Region. Coordinate with SDM Team on setting up of distribution & volume ambition for new launches, set execution standards for Team & periodically review ASM & SOM on progress.
    • Own and drive all Trade marketing, GTM and brand specific initiatives and take accountability for the target KPIs. Be responsible for competitive intelligence and liasioning with the state heads, RSM, SDM & Brand resources for suitable & timely action. Own the merchandising & visibility agenda and standards in shop.
    • Own the capability agenda in terms of conceptualization, content development, execution and measurement of efficacy. Ensure the coaching agenda on the job included is planned and executed to desirable results
    • Build up strategy along with RSM for weak states, empower Team with right support to felicitate execution in these states. Help team in building strong distribution foundation for future leadership.
    • Own the Rural business growth ambition in the region. Lead some of the key programs in Region to drive Rural distribution.
    • Support SDM team in conceptualizing & executing programs for driving extraction.
    • Focus on Channel extraction in Urban by guiding & reviewing Team on leveraging of various programs or agenda's set as part of AOP. Support the SDM team in conceptualization & execution of AW & trade level programs that help drive business and revenue extraction.
    • AW performance evaluation & management.
