    Job Description:

    We are hiring an experienced Executive (L6) for Warehousing at Tata Motors Finance. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, ensuring the uninterrupted supply of the right quality of materials to manufacturing while optimizing resources within the organization and/or from Service Providers. The role also involves compliance with safety, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

    Relevant Experience:

    • The candidate must have overall experience of 3-8 years in Supply Chain Management, with at least 2 years of sound technical knowledge in Warehousing Operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Warehousing Operations Management
    • Prepare shop-wise plans and execute inbound material receipt, safe storage, and issue as per production plan.
    • Ensure availability of materials at the right consumption point and escalate non-availability as per MIN MAX levels to ensure production uptime.
    • Drive smooth material flow from receiving to the point of use.
    • Adhere to JIS/JIT/Kanban methodologies for lean inventory management.
    • Prepare shop-wise layout and material flow solutions for optimization of regular/new project material as per WCQ standard (e.g., FIFO, PEFP, Pull system).
    • Manage documentation as per legal compliance and various audits.
    • Drive continuous improvements through various kaizen initiatives to address issues and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    1. Warehousing Operations Planning
    • Suggest design and utilization of shop warehouse for effective space and material flow utilization.
    • Execute safe handling of material facilities.
    1. Inventory Management & Obsolescence
    • Execute receipt of materials, their storage, and issuance to the line.
    • Execute Engineering Change Management initiatives.
    • Perform Cycle Inventory as per statutory requirements and company guidelines.
    • Coordinate with SCM to minimize generation of non-moving/obsolete materials.
    1. Quality Management
    • Ensure quality OK parts are delivered to the line.
    • Maximize green packaging and damaged-free parts issued to the line.
    1. Safety Management
    • Adhere to material handling guidelines.
    • Monitor and execute safety practices and compliance.
    1. Cost Management
    • Provide shop inputs for the preparation of annual Warehousing Revenue Budget.
    • Provide shop inputs for Capex requirements for Warehousing Operations.
    • Minimize the cost of material handling damage.
