    Lead DevOps Engineer :

    At EDGE, we believe simplifying employee data will help large corporates solve sub-optimal talent management problems. This data is more critical after the pandemic, as managing a remote workforce has shifted from optional to essential.

    We have spent our last eight years understanding the workforce from the IT and BFSI industries. We have used this employee data to create a sophisticated intelligence. This brain behind our AI-based products is called EDGE graph- . We have used 11 million job descriptions and more than 30 million profiles to build the graph.

    Our products like Pathfinder, Recruit and Mobility are deployed in IT companies like Wipro, HCL, UST Global, etc. and help them upskill, invest, and maintain their existing people. It has helped organisations improve their workforce availability, billing, allocations and drive straight bottom-line impacts. The new order of talent decisions helps us define, identify, and plan for a future-ready workforce.


    We build end-to-end talent management products for organisations so that they have a 360-degree view of their talent supply chain.

    This helps them make informed talent decisions efficiently and build an intelligent workforce.


    We built EDGE Networks in 2012 in an apartment in Bangalore and soon, were supported by the National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC).

    We are a part of the NASSCOM Product Council and have been recognized by Gartner, Deloitte, Equidam, NVIDIA, Amazon as an innovative tech HR startup in various titles.

    Responsibilities :


    • Build, Lead and guide a team of DevOps Engineers
    • Design and develop platform to support our multiple products and applications.
    • Improve the development cycle with better tooling.
    • Take ownership over the CI/CD processes of the company.
    • Responsibility over the code/process quality of the DevOps team.
    • Understanding customer requirements and helping the engineering teams with DevOps Deliverables
    • Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
    • Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
    • Managing stakeholders and external interfaces
    • Setting up tools and required infrastructure and securing it
    • Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
    • Troubleshooting and fixing critical production issues and incidents
    • Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
    • Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
    • Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
    • Incidence management and root cause analysis
    • Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
    • Mentoring and guiding the team members
    • Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer
    Qualification :


    • At least 2 years as a DevOps Team Lead.
    • At least 4 years as a DevOps Engineer.
    • At least 2 years' experience in web/rest application development using python stack
    • Deep understanding of Kubernetes.
    • Extensive experience with Azure/Digital Ocean.
    • Experience in automating and managing largescale cloud infrastructure.
    • Experience with Open Source based solutions.
    • Knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment best practices and tools (Jenkins, GitLab etc).
    • Experience with Artifacts management.
    • Experience in configuring and automating monitoring tools
    • Knowledge and experience with securing infrastructure.
    • Experience with deploying and maintaining large scale distributed production workloads.
    • Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
    • Excellent understanding of the Python
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills
    • Working knowledge of various tools, opensource technologies and cloud services
    • Handson experience in setup and maintenance of clusters such as RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, MongoDB etc
