    About the Opportunity:

    Role: Financial Planning & Analytics

    Level: RL5

    Location: Gurugram

    Reporting To: Vice President

    About the function:

    FP&A is a crucial function responsible for monitoring the financial well-being of the company. We collaborate with various business units to carry out budgeting, forecasting, and provide valuable financial insights to facilitate strategic decision-making.

    About the role:

    As a part of the FP&A team, you will ensure that leadership and business teams are consistently provided with an accurate overview of the P&L metrics for the Group and all lines of business. You will closely engage with the business for budgeting exercises and the development of the Annual Operating Plan, which acts as a guide for financial performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for timely and precise monthly/quarterly flash reporting.

    What will you be doing:

    1. Leading quarterly, monthly, mid-monthly management reporting.

    2.Business Partnering:

    • Collaborating closely with the business for budgeting exercises and the development of the Annual Operating Plan.
    • Working with the business to analyze historical and current trends in key performance indicators, including revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
    • Monitoring performance indicators, identifying trends, and analyzing reasons for unexpected variations compared to budget and forecasts.
    • Conducting monthly reviews with LOB teams to address any open points regarding P&L aspects and introducing new areas for running/ad-hoc analyses to enhance visibility of business performance.
    • Offering proactive analysis and insights on revenue mix.

    3.Competition analysis: Benchmarking key performance indicators against competitors to evaluate performance relative to the market.

    4. Preparing presentations for the Board of Directors and the Senior Management Team.

    5. Implementing and utilizing Business Intelligence Tools and preparing Dashboard reports.

    6. Enhancing performance by evaluating processes to identify opportunities for cost efficiency.

    7. Managing LOB P&Ls and analysis - closely monitoring the organization's deliverables to provide management with insights for decision-making.

    8. Leveraging Qliksense/Qlikview for database standardization and creating dashboard reports.

    9. Proactively identifying areas for process automation and standardizing existing reports.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • 7-10 years of previous experience in FP&A, with exposure to interacting with senior leadership.
    • Preferably good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Qliksense, etc.).
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Proactive attitude towards taking on assignments.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team.
    • Analytical mindset.
    • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis proficiency.

    Key Success factors of the role:

    • Thorough understanding of financials and all cost elements.
    • Producing management reports and monitoring performance against KPIs.
    • Prior exposure to budgeting and forecasting.
    • Proficient in Stakeholder Management - capable of leading discussions with the leadership team.
    • Driving automation initiatives - from conception to execution.
