    About this opportunity:

    This role is within the GBS People Services Quality and Performance. The teams core responsibility is on process & system performance and data quality related to People Function. This role will require frequent interaction with stakeholders to communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics and play a crucial role in identifying areas for improvement in the testing process and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    What you will do:

  • Discuss with process managers and other stakeholders on testing priorities, resource allocation, and any changes or updates to the testing approach.
  • Holding team meetings to discuss progress, issues, and priorities while assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Providing guidance, support, and feedback to testers.
  • Addressing any challenges or conflicts within the team.
  • Review test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure they meet quality standards and effectively cover the required functionality.
  • Analyzing test results and identifying defects or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with development teams to prioritize and address issues found during testing.
  • Providing updates on testing progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments to project managers, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Addressing questions, concerns, or feedback from stakeholders regarding testing activities or quality assurance processes.
  • Evaluating current testing practices and identifying areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Providing training or mentoring to testers to improve their skills and capabilities.

    • The skills you bring:

  • Min. 5 years of experience as Test Lead/Manager specialized in UAT for various software projects.
  • Should have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams such as Delivery, Process Management, development, product management, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically to devise effective testing strategies and solutions.
  • Deep understanding of quality assurance principles and practices
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools, with the ability to automate repetitive testing tasks.
  • Proactive attitude towards self-improvement and professional development.
