    We are Hiring for Cyber Security Platform Engineer (Level 2)

    Education: Any Technical Graduate

    Work Location: Electronic City, Bangalore

    Work Mode: Work from Office

    Brief Description

    The Security Operations SME will be responsible for managing the shifts and mentoring the analysts and hands-on resolution of security incidents.

    Detailed Description

    • Work closely with the Operations Manager in the functioning of the SOC
    • As Shift Lead accountable for the effective functioning of the respective shift.
    • Guide, mentor and train the Analysts and provide relevant feedback.
    • Provide inputs to revise and develop processes to strengthen the current Security Operations Framework.
    • Interact with senior organizational leaders as required to facilitate the effective handling of incidents or delivery of triage.
    • As part of the onboard and operationalizing new monitoring technology/tools and improvements, create documentation and SOPs
    • Monitor the health of the tools and execute profile/model changes following due change management process.
    • Perform the audit and publish the compliance reports required to meet organizational objectives of TISAX / ISO27001 or other such certifications.
    • Remain up to date with existing and emerging monitoring and preventative security technologies in use within the Company.
    • Perform threat management, threat modelling, identify threat vectors and develop use cases for security monitoring.
    • Analyse the reports from various monitoring tools on a regular cadence, identify & assign actionable tasks to Analysts and Site IT staff.
    • Lead post-incident analysis and documentation to ensure accurate root causes of incidents are identified, appropriate preventive actions are realized and tracked, and reduce likelihood of future cybersecurity events.

    • Experience of information security, Intrusion Detection, and prevention systems, EDR, incident handling & response processes
    • Working knowledge of Firewalls, Networks, Authentication solutions, IT Asset Management, various operating system flavours (Windows, Linux), applications, databases, middleware to address security threats against the same.
