Short Role Description
Test the functionality and usability of iStrives before it goes live to ensure it is bug-free

Responsibility/Activity

Deliverables

Test plan and outcome estimation
Test scenario
Test cases and test data.
Test summary report
Test closure report
Incident report

Responsibilities

Executes test cases based on a scenario
Document and evaluates test result
Detect and log program bugs and glitches.
Track defects and helps troubleshoot errors.
Review test procedures and develops test scripts.
Partner with iStrives dev team to drive QA efforts.

Requirements:

Previous work experience as a QA Engineer, QA Tester, or relevant position in the IT department
Complete understanding of automation systems and databases
Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Basic knowledge of scripting and other related procedures
Knowhow of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing
Familiarity with the software development process
Ability to write SQL queries
Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams

- knowledge about Agile Development environment

5 or more years of software development and/or testing experience

Skills Profile

Knowledge, *Minimum associate degree or a bachelor's degree
*Skills, and ISTQB Certification is preferred
