    Description
    Job Description

    Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence, we are looking for a proactive individual to take on the following risk responsibilities:

    • Understands business needs and has a deep understanding of Tesco Distribution processes
    • Applies CI tools and techniques to build on Tesco processes and knowledge internally and in the market
    • Extracts and transforms daily/weekly data for inbound distribution planners to ensure smooth operations
    • Validates output to ensure consistency and identifies any potential issues
    • Checks and validates supplier performance to drive improvement in line with business goals
    • Conducts adhoc research and analysis to diagnose recent performance and operational issues
    • Balances and prioritizes work across short-term projects and long-term initiatives
    • Keeps up-to-date on industry regulations, competitor news, and shares best practices
    • Collaborates with teams across the business to identify opportunities and develop solutions for customers and the business
    • Completes tasks and transactions within agreed KPI's
    • Solves problems by suggesting solution alternatives

    Qualifications:

    • Proficient experience in SQL and VBA
    • Basic knowledge of Tableau and Python, with a willingness to learn
    • Excellent problem-solving skills translating complex issues into clear and actionable frameworks
    • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
