Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum standards and educational objectives.
Create and implement effective instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Develop and adapt curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments, to ensure student understanding and achievement.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to active learning and academic growth.
Utilize various teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance student engagement and facilitate meaningful learning experiences.
Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support student learning and development.
Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, academic concerns, and other relevant matters.
Participate in professional development activities and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the overall success of the department and school.
Adhere to school policies, procedures, and ethical standards, maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions with students, staff, and stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.

Qualifications:

A postgraduate degree (Masters or equivalent) in Chemistry or a related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
Previous teaching experience at the secondary or higher secondary level is desirable.
Strong content knowledge and expertise in Chemistry, with the ability to teach various topics and concepts effectively.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to student success and academic excellence.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing educational trends and technologies.
Familiarity with educational standards, assessment practices, and instructional strategies.
Valid teaching certification/license (if applicable) preferred.
