PGT Chemistry Teacher


Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum standards and educational objectives.
  • Create and implement effective instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Develop and adapt curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments, to ensure student understanding and achievement.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to active learning and academic growth.
  • Utilize various teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance student engagement and facilitate meaningful learning experiences.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support student learning and development.
  • Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, academic concerns, and other relevant matters.
  • Participate in professional development activities and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the overall success of the department and school.
  • Adhere to school policies, procedures, and ethical standards, maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions with students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.

Qualifications:


  • A postgraduate degree (Masters or equivalent) in Chemistry or a related field.
  • B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
  • Previous teaching experience at the secondary or higher secondary level is desirable.
  • Strong content knowledge and expertise in Chemistry, with the ability to teach various topics and concepts effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to student success and academic excellence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing educational trends and technologies.
  • Familiarity with educational standards, assessment practices, and instructional strategies.
  • Valid teaching certification/license (if applicable) preferred.

Pay:
₹60, ₹100,000.00 per month
