    Position Description

    Title: Functional Support Specialist Level 2 (FICO)

    Job Location: Pune

    Reports To: Manager – SAP Support India

    Description: To provide Level 2 support for SAP Finance & Controlling issues.

    Overall responsibilities and duties:

    - Support SAP Finance & Controlling domain (FICO) modules

    - Assist in new implementations, rollouts, troubleshooting, and general support

    Main missions and results:

    • Participates in implementations at various sites in India
    • Provides functional first & second level support to users
    • Assists key users in adopting FCS standards
    • Acts as the main bridge between Finance and FCS L3 team
    • Leads small projects independently with minimal supervision
    • Requires hands-on experience in FICO and country-specific taxation knowledge (GST)
    • Participates in all test phases of the applications
    • Coordinates and conducts end-user trainings
    • Contributes to adjusting training documentation to site specifics
    • Plans and executes training programs in coordination with key users
    • Promotes better application utilization and user procedure documentation

    Performs 2nd level end-user support

    • Receives incidents from the 1st level support (Helpdesk)
    • Documents solutions/results about incidents/demands in the ticket management system
    • Provides remote or on-site support
    • Identifies and escalates problems when necessary

    Leads the lifecycle management of the application for the functional domain

    • Collects and describes local requirements (Requests For Change)
    • Develops functional specifications and obtains validation
    • Facilitates priority establishment
    • Communicates decisions to the user community

    Ensures Continuous Improvement in the functional domain

    • Maintains data coherence and consistency through periodic tests
    • Promotes best practices and data quality improvement
    • Contributes to SAP support chain quality and efficiency

    Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate:

    • Commerce Graduate with 4 to 6 years of experience in SAP FICO
    • Strong knowledge of Finance processes
    • Proficient in English
    • Flexible in commuting within the region
    • Team player with the ability to connect and influence global teams for additional support

    Profile:

    Schedule: Full-time

    Contract: Unlimited Term

    Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce

    Educational Program: Information Technology

    Travel: 10% to 20% of time
