Support Technician I - Bengaluru, India - Cerner Corporation
Description
Perform specific hardware and software maintenance, such as upgrades, virus scans, moving systems, and documenting changes in partnership with suppliers, if appropriate, using existing documentation- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and document resolution
- Repair or replace defective equipment with support as needed
- Install, configure, and update enduser desktop and laptop software
- Prioritize and escalate issues and requests when appropriate
- Fulfill technical requests from end users or route when appropriate
- Use knowledge transfer forums to identify and resolve problems
Working Environment:
- Onsite: No Relocation Assistance OfferedThis position offers an Onsite working environment. Meaning you will primarily work in a Cerner office or client site. Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- At least 2 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education
- High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- ITIL Foundations / Service Management
- AXELOS

- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
