    About theClient

    A fastgrowingautomotive EV company.

    Roles andResponsibilities

    • Take the lead in developing the design and development ofsensor control for permanent magnet torque motors which includessophisticated modulation of the inverter position and velocityestimates current control fault detection and improvement ofefficiency.
    • Closedloop force and positioncontrol for permanent magnet servo systems.
    • Develop software test it and simulate it to implement andvalidate electronic designs.
    • Using unit andintegration tests oversee the software verification and validationprocesses.
    • Preserve the necessary records forthe task that is done.
    • Assist in thedevelopment of new products comprehend break down and specify theneeds for both processes and products.

    RequiredExperience

    • Knowledge in developing motor control algorithms.(Optional sinusoidal commutation FOC)
    • Workingknowledge of various motor types such as PMSM and IM.
    • Knowledge of power electronics control (P PI PIDcontrollers).
    • Proficiency with DCDC convertersinverters control logic and regenerative braking.
    • Knowledge of how to adjust a motor control system fortorque and speed characteristics.
    • Cbasedembedded software development experience.
    • Goodfamiliarity with low lever driver development such as QEP ADC andPWM.
    • Knowledge of designing SWarchitecture.
    • Protocols for communication:UART I2C SPI CAN.
    • Software and hardwaretroubleshooting abilities.
    • Modelbased designexperience with programs like Matlab/Simulink and dSPACE is aplus.
    • Producing and keeping up with programdocumentation for the software including any relevant approvals andcompliance requirement

    Qualification

    • Bachelorsor Masters Degree in an electronics/computer science engineeringdiscipline with Five or more years of professional experiencedeveloping MCU software.
