    Description

    Role:
    Android Developer Intern

    Location:
    IITM Research Park- Chennai

    Duration:
    3 months

    Stipend:
    Up to ₹15k per month


    About dVerse Technologies:
    dVerse Technologies is an innovative assistive technology startup based at the prestigious IITM Research Park in Chennai.

    We are dedicated to developing solutions that enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, using cutting-edge technology to create accessible and user-friendly applications.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features
    Define minimum host device specification for the required application
    Interfacing mobile devices with external camera feed
    Interface android app with MongoDB and AWS
    Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
    Documentation of technical specifications in Git repos



    Qualifications:
    Currently pursuing or fresher with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    Strong understanding of Java and/or Kotlin programming languages
    Hands-on knowledge of implementation of openCV in Android development
    Familiarity with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
    Basic understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
    Knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
    Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

    Preferred

    Qualifications:
    Previous experience with Android development projects, either through coursework or personal projects
    Familiarity with accessibility features and guidelines in Android development.
    Experience with graphics programming and knowledge of tools such as OpenGL
