    Description

    Job purpose:

    • Supports demand management in the ideation phase and early stages of the IM projects.
    • Provides solutions that are compatible with the existing (technical and functional) architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget, and operational supportability.
    • Ensures quality and consistency with functional template design for deployments.
    • Monitors the market to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies in own area of expertise.
    • Build and maintain strong relationship with functional, commercial and plant controllers (globally) and becomes a trusted advisor for business processes covered in own area of expertise.
    • Lead and/or participate in projects covering the SAP FICO domain including integration with other SAP modules and applications.

    About the job (Job Responsibilities):

    • Supports demand management in writing project charters and translation into detailed requirements – in line with the IPM project methodology.
    • Translates business requirements into solutions and/or solution directions.
    • Defines, agrees and communicates the roadmap for the applications in scope.
    • Reviews impact assessment and solution directions for change requests.
    • Keeps IM documentation and CMDB up-to-date for the business processes and applications in scope.
    • Ensure quality and consistency with template design for deployments – check of designs and build.
    • Supports the testing and training activities for CR's and in projects.
    • Contributes to and initiates continuous improvement activities.

    Key Activities:

    • Leads and/or participates in IM projects in different roles e.g. project manager, lead solution architect, finance project consultant or QA role.
    • Supports IM Services FAM team in handling MyIT tickets in line with the IM Operating Model
    • Supports Finance business leads and other stakeholders regarding IT related topics

    Experiences

    • Background: SAP Consulting or Finance business role (e.g. financial controller).
    • Professional with around 7-10 years of experience in the IT sector including at least 5 years in the SAP Controlling domain.

    Skills:

    • Good communicator and influencer: Ability to influence internal and external parties and communicate clearly in at different levels. Fluent in written and spoken English.
    • Used to working in a global environment and familiar with regional specifics.
    • Knowledge of / experience with the manufacturing / process industry.
    • Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new trends and technologies, especially in the SAP ecosystem.
    • Business process modelling and application architecture design (logical and physical) – frameworks (TOGAF), tools, technologies, methodologies.
    • Strong analytical skills over multiple technical domains to identify opportunities and solutions.
    • Solves problems using knowledge, experience and analysis of available information.
    • Ability to remain neutral toward technology, vendor and product choices, as well as to be more interested in results than in personal preferences.
    • Broad knowledge and experience of architecture, technology platforms and business domains with relevant experience in SAP Controlling (Expertise area: Product Costing, COPA, CCA/PCA, Project Systems).
    • Hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation projects and programs.
    • Knowledge of and experience in financial planning processes is a strong pre.
    • Preferably also has knowledge of areas integrating to procurement, sales, production, and management reporting.
    • Preferably knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerBI and/or other management reporting tools.
