- Develop and maintain strong relationships with authors who have published their books with us, serving as their primary point of contact.
- Proactively engage with authors to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, and provide personalized support to help them achieve success.
- Assist authors in navigating the publishing process, addressing queries, and resolving issues related to book distribution, royalties, and platform usage.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as publishing, distribution, marketing, and customer support to ensure seamless author experiences and timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct regular check ins with authors to gather feedback, assess satisfaction levels, and identify opportunities for improvement or additional services.
- Analyze author success metrics, such as book sales, reader engagement, and author feedback, to measure performance and provide insights to the leadership team.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance author retention, engagement, and overall success on the Notion Press platform.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and competitor offerings to continuously improve our author success initiatives and services.
- 0-2 years of experience in customer-facing roles.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience in customer success, account management, or related roles, preferably in the publishing or creative industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with authors, understand their needs, and articulate solutions clearly.
- Empathetic approach and ability to build rapport with authors, demonstrating genuine interest in their success and satisfaction.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, track key metrics, and derive actionable insights to drive author success strategies.
