    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Staff Engineer/Principal Engineer at M31 Technology located in Bengaluru. The Senior Staff Engineer/Principal Engineer will be responsible for leading and designing Sram/Rom memory Compilers in cutting edge FinFet nodes like 12nm, 6nm, 5nm, 3nm, 2nm.They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the development of architecture and circuits on key embedded Sram and Rom memories

    Qualifications

    • Extensive experience in designing key circuits like write assist, read assist, sense amplifier, wordline drivers, advanced power saving modes like retention, light sleep etc, on FINFET technology.
    • Strong proficiency in memory margining techniques and familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools like Virtuso, Hspice, Solido, ESPCV, StarRC, PrimeSim etc.
    • Expertise in memory architecture definition, PPA optimization for best in class memory compilers.
    • Deep understanding of various design and verification methodologies and flows
    • Proven track record of successful IP development and delivery confirming to high end QA checks
    • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
    • Bachelor's degree/ Master's degree preferred in Electrical/Computer Engineering with exposure to VLSI Design
    • Minimum 8+ years of embedded memory design

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in leading FinFet texhnology memory compiler development.
    • Familiarity with Arm CPU L1 & L2 memory instances
    • Experience in low-power design techniques
    • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or TCL
    • Advanced degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field
