    Upper Management / Consulting
    Description

    The ideal candidate will own the entire garment production process. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. They will also run quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction. Someone with experience and knowledge of fabrics and garment production.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and evaluate the entire production process
    • Contribute to production planning and budgeting
    • Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Maintain a safe production environment
    • Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders
    • Sourcing- studying the market in India and abroad, speaking to vendors, calling for samples, ordering fabrics, and transportation to the designated place
    • Negotiating to get the best rates and terms.
    • Gathering all raw materials
    • Quality check of the materials - ensure the colour variations are minimal etc
    • Generating invoices and Purchase orders.
    • Coordinating with the manufacturers- factory visits, to ensure smooth production.
    • All concerned vendors need to be identified and handled
    • Supply Chain- ensuring adequate inventory is available at all times, without tying up too much of the company capital
    • Working with the Marketing head to study customer feedback- to improve the product.
    • Packaging - work with the Marketing manager to order packaging material for current and new products.
    • Coordination of all the transportation needs.
    • Contributing to production planning and budgeting.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years of production experience
    • Strong organizational and managerial skills
