    IIoT and connected vehicles-Cyber - Lead

    Position: Sr.Manager

    Location: Gurgaon

    Experience: Min. of 10 years in relevant field of vehicle electronics/IIoT/cybersecurity.

    Job description:

    Connected vehicles IIoT and cybersecurity is a rapidly expanding area. Our client plays a key role in the ICS – cybersecurity space. By working closely with enterprises using ICS, Our client is creating a foundational basis for improving the security posture across a wide domain of manufacturing and connected products.

    As a part of our IIoT/connected vehicle initiatives, our cyber-lab is a key element in ensuring our efforts are contemporary and include the most recent events of relevance in cybersecurity.

    As a cyber -lab technology lead, you will work as a part of problem solvers, helping create and check real life scenarios related to contemporary industrial cyber security.

    The Cyber lab lead functions would involve functions (which are indicative of the work) as below ,

    • on Mobility and transport ecospaces for cybersecurity solutions.
    • participation in setting up the cybersecurity framework for connected vehicles.
    • the framework and process creation for assessment and testing of IIoT products.
    • attacks on specific control setups in the lab to function as Penetration tests for target objects used in industrial setups (eg. Vehicle controllers (ECU, TCU, lighting controls, etc.)
    • various systems such as Firewall, DMZ for manufacturing security, network segregation for effectivity in specific and configurable architectures.
    • various IDS and IPS systems for effective deployment through their cycle(from discovery to calibration and reporting.) work on Threat modelling, for connected vehicles and IIoT considering specific scenarios.
    • and maintain list of observations as repositories of exploits for specific scenarios and conditions.
    • create targeted workshops and evolve red teaming exercises curated for domain specific scenarios.
    • Security policies in simulated set ups to understand real world implementation issues and gaps.
    • vital knowledge support to the V-SOC in form of explaining and testing events /incidents which are core to security Policies and Processes.
    • to industries to understand as-is architectures for simulation and testing.

    This role is of a key accelerator, in the establishment of security scenarios and requires multi -faceted skills including technology, business understanding, and excellent interaction with technology users. Keen interest in cyber security, ICS and self- motivated learning, with an ability to guide a larger team are a few core attributes for this role.

    A go-getting approach with a hunger for experimentation, and meticulous record keeping (digital) will be stepping stones for succeeding in this role.

    Qualification/Experience:

    BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics/Electronics & communication/Computer science/Instrumentation

    Certification in two or more of the following OSCP , CEH, OSWP, OSCE, ISO 21434, ISA/IEC 62443 is highly desirable.

    Hands on experience in IIoT/ Industrial Network configuration with thorough understanding of networks such as Profinet, Profibus, Devicenet, CC Link, OPC-UA, Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet/IP and OT protocols such as MQTT, Json, LoRA and 5G.

    Hands-on experience on SDLC of Security Project Survey, Requirement Definition and Review, Design, Implementation and Security Testing.

    Understanding of vehicle networks such as CAN and LIN. Understanding /Handson experience of HART, FF, Profibus field devices using DD, EDD, DTM and interoperability testing.

    Working knowledge of development backgrounds in C/C++, Python, ARM , x86 assembly ,Java, Python.

    Understanding and experience of executing networks with Purdue layers.

    Exposure to security systems -any of the below will be an advantage Claroty/Nozomi/DarkTrust/Tenable/Fortinet/BeyondTrace/Dragos/Forescout/

    (xGuard, VCode, PROOF, CycurGATE etc.)

    Exposure and workable knowledge:

    Good understanding of electronics, electrical systems, Large enterprise IT systems , cloud architecture and security.Load balancing, router configuration, DB security , Active directory, Server configuration and security.
