    Description

    Product Managers at Airtel are curious, creative problem solvers who are highly collaborative, live to tackle the hard problems and drive business growth.

    At Airtel, the Product team is building the next wave of scalable and robust digital products to meet customers' needs. We are investing heavily in our digital product ecosystem to deliver delight to our customers and grow the business. We put the customer first and value progress over busy activity. Our product managers are entrepreneurial, hands-on and do what it takes to deliver the product to our 300M customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Any graduate degree (post-graduation or MBA is a plus). Engineers preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in building and taking consumer-facing products (apps/web) to market
    • Minimum 2 years of leading consumer applications in the B2C space at scale in Financial Service domain with Lending Products.
    • Minimum 2 years of leading digital Financial Services product teams
    • Set the vision for the product, clearly define metrics, reach alignment across business, product and engineering team members and stakeholders, and of course "rock star" execution.
    • Do what it takes to launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate constantly and quickly.
    • Engage closely with UX, Marketing, Engineering and Data teams to drive the product or feature growth.
    • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process can fluid and creative problem solving is the norm
    • End-to-end owner of the product driving acquisition and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
    • Owns large product with high complexity
    • Owns a program or a small product with medium complexity
    • Ability to participate in metric setting
    • Comfortable with agile processes and tools
    • Strong communication skills which enables excellent stakeholder management
    • Competent at driving projects across multiple teams and functions

    Qualifications

    • An entrepreneurial mindset, end-to-end ownership of the product, and work across stakeholders to achieve the desired objectives for the product
    • Conceptualization of Product, Product Metrics, End to end product management.
    • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and ability to evangelize the product or feature.
    • Strong data analytics and ability to set up experiments and testing hypotheses.
    • Effective prioritization framework to focus on the right features and capability to ship.
