    As a part of the Marsh Advisory team in Knowledge Services function of MMGS, the colleague would work with our Property Risk Consulting Team in US to support Property and Equipment Valuations projects. Marsh Risk Consulting's Valuation Services Practice (VSP) provides professional, independent, supportable valuations of fixed assets across virtually every industry for corporations, private equity firms, and government entities. Whether involved with a sale, acquisition, financial reporting, litigation, insurance placement, asset life study, or fixed asset management, organizations rely on VSP for guidance and accurate values.

    MMGS is a global knowledge center for Marsh McLennan and houses teams, which work closely with the colleagues across various operating units and locations.

    VSP of Marsh Advisory US is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai office:

    Senior Manager – Property Valuations, Marsh Advisory

    What can you expect?

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of valuation techniques to provide documented and efficient valuation solutions
  • Provide property valuation services for buildings, equipment, plant and machinery to establish the Insurable Replacement Cost
  • Prepare reports, presentations, slides and other communications of high complexity that are client ready
  • Formulate strategies for internal and client meetings and lead the discussions to drive client projects
  • Lead complex and / or unique projects for clients

    • What you need to have:

  • Bachelors' Degree in Engineering, Construction or Real Estate
  • Background in Valuation, Construction Cost Estimating, Property Insurance or Real Estate
  • 5+ years of property valuation / appraisal experience or similar engineering / building cost estimating experience
  • Experience in performing field inspections
  • High level of confidence working with Excel and Word
  • Experience with a cost estimating program such as CoreLogic, Marshall & Swift or RSMeans
  • Problem solving and critical thinking approach
  • Ability to pay attention to details and quick learning capabilities
  • Ability to arrange and synthesize data and information from multiple sources
