Key Responsibilities :

Planning, Executing, Architect, design, and implement scalable backend services

Design and build high-volume APIs to support internal and external developers

Work closely with vendor to operating existing CMS system for SonyLiv OTT platform

Improve integrations with partners like Stripe, and other UPI payment gateway where we process millions of transactions every year

Develop a comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish our business goals

Cross-collaborate with Vendors, SPNI software engineers, product managers, designers, and QA analysts in an autonomous, supportive team environment

Build and maintain unit and integration tests

Mentor other engineers on best practices, code design considerations, and quality

Chart out the plan for building the User Subscription and Payment system in-house.

Manage and re-architect our In-App interactivity system where millions of user interact in real time with SonyLiv OTT platform.

Mentoring the team and guid them for right solution and create the next layer of leadership.

Technical Skills :

Experience working on

Experience with integration, data handling technologies and other open-source frameworks such as Elasticsearch, Solr etc

Have 3+ experience in user subscription management and payment gateway system

Have experience in building APIs for scalable B2C application like Android, ios, web etc.

Value testing and documentation equally as much as your code

Are comfortable with ambiguity and scoping solutions with your teammates

Have consistently communicated trade-offs throughout a project to meet both technical and business requirements

Experience in cloud technology like AWS

Minimum 3+ year of experience in managing and building the team from ground up.

Good to have :

Working knowledge of WebSockets.
