    Job Title: Chief Operations Officer (COO)

    Location: Bangalore

    About Us: We have been retained by a leading provider of aviation services, specializing in fueling, ground handling, and related support services for airlines, private aircraft, and other aviation clients. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, our client ensures safe and efficient operations for their clients across the globe.

    Position Overview: As the Chief Operations Officer (COO), you will play a critical role in leading and optimizing our operational functions. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operational activities, with a focus on driving growth, efficiency, and profitability. The ideal candidate will bring extensive leadership experience, a proven track record of P&L ownership, and a high-energy approach to driving results.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operational teams, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
    2. P&L Ownership: Take ownership of the company's P&L, driving revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability across all operational areas.
    3. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization across all operational functions, driving efficiency and scalability.
    4. Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures, maintaining a commitment to excellence in all aspects of operations.
    5. Team Development: Build and develop a high-performing operational team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    6. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth and expansion.
    7. Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, serving as a trusted partner and advisor.
    8. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
    9. Financial Management: Manage operational budgets and resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization to drive financial performance.
    10. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing robust risk management processes and controls.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, preferably within the aviation industry.
    • Proven track record of P&L ownership and driving growth in a complex operational environment.
    • Strong understanding of aviation operations, fueling procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • High-energy, results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
