Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Development Executive with a flair for luxury and an eye for opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our dealer network, fostering strong relationships with high-end retailers, and identifying new market opportunities to increase our brand presence. Your role will be pivotal in driving our business growth and ensuring that our luxury outdoor furniture reaches more homes and hospitality venues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with high-end dealers and luxury retail partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers, ensuring their needs are met and encouraging increased sales through strategic support.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, market needs, and potential growth areas for our luxury outdoor furniture range.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials and programs that support dealer engagement and sales growth.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring alignment with our brand values and financial objectives.
- Provide regular reports on market activity, sales progress, and strategic opportunities to senior management.
- Represent Abaca at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to network and promote our products.
- Work closely with the product development team to provide feedback from the market and suggest product enhancements or new product opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in business development or sales, ideally within the high-end luxury goods sector. Experience with outdoor furniture or similar industries is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the luxury market and the needs of high-end dealers and retailers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for luxury and design.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with dealers, attend trade shows, and explore new markets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
