    Description

    Responsibilities :

    • Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and software packages on physical and virtual servers.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, ensuring adherence to security policies and best practices.
    • Implement and maintain system backup and recovery procedures to protect against data loss and minimize downtime.
    • Configure and manage network services, including DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and NFS, to support internal and external communication and collaboration.
    • Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls, to protect against unauthorized access and malicious activities.
    • Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades in accordance with established procedures and change management processes.
    • Create and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides, to facilitate knowledge sharing and support.
    • Provide technical support and assistance to endusers, resolving issues and answering inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
    • Collaborate with other IT teams, including network administrators, system engineers, and developers, to support IT initiatives and projects.

    Requirements :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • 45 years of experience in Linux system administration.
    • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and managing Linux operating systems, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS.
    • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or KVM.
    • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and NFS.
    • Familiarity with security best practices and tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls.
    • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl for automation and scripting tasks.
    • Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
