    Description

    Must-Have:
    Linux SUSE Manager/Saltstack Admin Responsible for integration of systems on the existing infrastructure.

    • Understanding of EMC SAN, network architectures and network security practices are beneficial.
    • Excellent customer and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be a flexible, organized, thoughtful, proactive team player who can work with minimal guidance and demonstrate strong abilities in crossorganizational teaming and in customer service.
    • Daily monitoring and maintenance of over several servers.
    • Perform back up, file replications and script management for servers.
    • Test and apply new software and maintenance patches, including patch management services.
    • Solid fundamental knowledge of networking: basic operation of TCP, UDP, and routing.
    • Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and SMTP.
    • Working knowledge of HTTP and HTTPs, and the Apache web server.
    • An understanding of VMWARE virtualization technologies a plus.
    • Experience with SAN devices and RAID configuration preferred.
    • Working knowledge of installation tools for RHEL 5 and 6, including Kickstart, PXE, YUM, and RHN required.
    • Create and maintain custom packages for the RPM Package Manager (RPM).
    • Understanding of disaster recovery implementations.
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fastpaced, growing and evolving environment.

    Good-to-Have :

    • BE / BTech preferably in Information Management or Computer Science with minimum 5 years of experience in Linux Systems Administration in global environments.
    • RHCE/RHCA certification would be plus.
    • At least 4 years of experience managing mission critical Unix (AIX or Solaris) and Linux systems with proven involvement in operations requiring for stringent uptime service levels.
    • Brings sound expertise in ITIL processes like Incident Management, Change Management, Release & Configuration Management, Availability Management.
    • Candidate should have experience in working with core linux and should be capable in customized installation of PHP, MySQL and Apache/Nginx.
    • Create custom scripts for gathering the inventory from key stakeholders.
    • Experience of clustering and Load balancing Good Unix administration background (AIX / Solaris / HP-UX / RHEL / SuSE).
    • Understanding of third party application patching & day to day interaction with onsite teams to resolve incidents.
