    Description
    We are Having Openings Linux Admin with Lab Engineer for one of our MNC Client in Bangalore location.


    Payroll :
    Quess.


    Location :
    Bangalore.


    Work Mode :
    Work from Office.


    Interview Mode :
    virtual and F2F ( Face to Face ).


    Role :
    LAB Engineer.

    Experience : 7 to 9 Years only.


    Notice period :
    Immediate Joiner or Currently Serving.


    JD :

    Duties will include :

    • Deploying and maintaining Linux systems on Server and Workstation hardware.
    • Proactive monitoring of systems to identify and address potential issues.
    • Collaborating with engineers, and developers to optimize System and application performance.
    • Troubleshooting and resolving system, network, and software problems.
    • Knowledge on IPKVM.
    • Day to day LAB maintenance.

    Hardware Skills :

    • Assembling Systems Desktops and Servers.
    • Hardware troubleshooting.
    • BIOS and Firmware updating,.
    • Upgrading Processor / RAM / HDD.

    Technical and soft skills needed :

    • Proven experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or similar role.
    • Proficiency in Linux system administration (RHEL & Ubuntu).
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible, Git).
    • Strong networking skills, including understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP,.
    • Familiarity with monitoring and performance tuning tools.
    • Excellent problemsolving & Troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong communication skills to engage with multiple teams and present technical concepts clearly to colleagues.
    • Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and incidents.
    Existing Knowledge of the following would be advantageous but not essential :

    HPC software (e.g.
    Slurm, lmod, Spack).


    • Storage technologies (e.g.
    RAID, NFS, BeeGFS, InfiniBand).

    • Delivering training to colleagues or customers.
    )
