    POSITION: DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER - AVIATION SERVICES

    As the Deputy General Manager of Operations, you will lead the charge in driving efficiency and excellence across our operations at the airports. If you are an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the aviation industry, a proven track record of driving operational excellence, and a passion for leading high-performing teams, this is an opportunity you cannot afford to miss.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee our entire aviation services portfolio, encompassing 15 diverse accounts and a workforce of over 500 employees across Hyderabad Airport.
    • Demonstrate exceptional client management skills, proactively addressing issues and resolving them promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Effectively manage SLA-driven contracts, ensuring strict adherence to processes and procedures to avoid penalties for people or process deficiencies.
    • Collaborate closely with BCAS (Bureau of Civil Aviation Security) to facilitate seamless and efficient issuance of Airport Entry Permits (AEP) for new employees.
    • Provide inspiring leadership and guidance to on-site teams, fostering an environment that motivates employees to perform at their best.
    • Play a pivotal role in talent acquisition, sourcing, and developing exceptional individuals for second and third-line leadership roles within the aviation division of our company.
    • Optimize resource allocation and crew management strategies to maximize site profitability while maintaining operational excellence.
    • Contribute actively to business development efforts, pitching for new airport contracts, and expanding our aviation services footprint.
    • Manage and oversee the site's Profit & Loss (P&L) accounts, implementing cost-effective measures to ensure profitability targets are met or exceeded.
    • Ensure strict adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
    • Implement robust quality control measures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent service delivery across all airport locations.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and mitigate potential risks or vulnerabilities.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and the implementation of best practices within the aviation services division.
    • Collaborate with regulatory authorities, BCAS authorities, and industry bodies to stay updated on emerging trends, regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Develop and implement contingency plans and emergency response protocols to ensure seamless operations during unforeseen circumstances or crises.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Proven track record of at least 15 years in a senior operations role within the aviation industry, preferably in airport management or related domains.
    • Comprehensive understanding of aviation regulations, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
    • Strong leadership abilities with a talent for team building, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.
    • Digitalization capabilities with a focus on integrating technological solutions for enhanced efficiency.
    • Exceptional level of proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite, which encompasses a comprehensive understanding and expertise in working with Excel formulas. Experience and knowledge in creating complex formulas, manipulating data, analyzing large datasets, and generating insightful reports.
    • Analytical and problem-solving acumen, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
    • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and cost optimization techniques.
    • Willingness and capabilities to develop the Company's footprint across other Airports in the country.
    • Relevant academic qualifications in a related field (e.g., Aviation Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration).
