Strategic Business Development & Institutional Partnerships Lead
Location: Mumbai (Full-Time, Onsite)
We are looking for a senior professional to lead Strategic Business Development and Institutional Partnerships from Mumbai, with a strong focus on engaging academic institutions, research bodies, corporate partners, and innovation ecosystems including IIT Bombay and other key stakeholders.
This is a high-impact role that will anchor iKures presence within the Mumbai innovation and institutional ecosystem while driving structured revenue partnerships and strategic collaborations.
Role Overview
The Strategic BD & Institutional Partnerships Lead will build long-term collaborations across academic institutions, CSR arms of corporates, impact investors, healthcare companies, and ecosystem enablers.
The role requires credibility, structured thinking, negotiation ability, and the capacity to convert strategic relationships into sustainable programs and revenue streams.
This is not a transactional sales role. It is a strategic growth and positioning mandate.
Key Responsibilities
Academic & Research Partnerships
Liaise closely with IIT Bombay and other leading academic institutions.
Develop collaborative programs in public health, digital health, data analytics, med-tech pilots, and field research.
Structure MoUs, pilot projects, and innovation partnerships.
Engage faculty, research labs, incubation centers, and student bodies.
Institutional & Corporate Partnerships
Engage CSR heads, foundations, healthcare corporates, and innovation funds.
Design partnership models aligned with iKures community-based healthcare system.
Develop multi-year engagement proposals.
Lead high-value negotiations and structured closures.
Innovation & Ecosystem Engagement
Represent iKure in conferences, policy forums, and innovation networks.
Build visibility within Mumbai's healthcare and startup ecosystem.
Identify co-development and pilot opportunities with med-tech and digital health startups.
Strategic Revenue Development
Build and manage a structured institutional BD pipeline.
Define quarterly partnership and revenue goals.
Convert institutional relationships into funded programs.
Work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure delivery discipline.
Government & Policy Interface
Engage with state-level stakeholders where relevant.
Explore public-private collaboration opportunities.
Support regulatory and policy conversations where required.
Eligibility
Minimum 7+ years of experience in Strategic Business Development, Institutional Partnerships, or Corporate Alliances.
Strong exposure to academic, CSR, or healthcare ecosystems.
Experience in handling high-level institutional conversations.
Demonstrated ability to close structured partnerships.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
High credibility and professional maturity.
Willingness to travel as required.
