    JD For QA – Automation Lead Role - LiquiLoans

    About LiquiLoans:

    We are India's Largest, Profitable 500+ member P2P Fintech registered with RBI based out of Mumbai with offices in 10+ cities in India. We had recently raised a Series A round of nearly 80+ Crs valuing us at approx Crs. We are a 6-year young high growth fintech growing at 200% CAGR, founded by successful co-founders who had cofounded a company earlier (Rentomojo) which has a 1000+ Cr valuation with marquee investors in that company like Bain Capital, Accel & Samsung Family Treasury. In the current company we have raised capital from ex-ceo of Barclays wealth india, CRED to name a few.

    What we do as a company:

    We are a new super-fast growing fintech (P2P) platform facilitating lending & borrowing i.e., in simple terms we are a small fintech version of Bajaj finance i.e., we provide consumer and personal loans to the borrowers and on the same platform we raise capital from investors to help them make a higher & safer return on their capital.

    Tech at LiquiLoans:

    The technology at LiquiLoans is a highly scalable, design / development driven and fast-moving infrastructure. A 60+ member tech team comprising a sensible blend of developers, product and leads.

    Currently, LiquiLoans is strengthening its tech ecosystem by

    (1) Implementing ISO enterprise security standards.

    (2) Building serverless, event driven, scalable microservice applications using Golang, Python & NodeJs.

    (3) Accommodating data warehousing systems for data analytics, modelling and MIS Reporting

    (4) Empowering business teams by building internal tools to accelerate deliverables / timelines. Our vision is to create a tech ecosystem which is fully automated, highly available, technology driven, zero human touch and extremely scalable.

    Job Summary

    The QA Automation Lead will be responsible for leading and managing the automation testing efforts within the Quality Assurance (QA) team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. The QA Automation Lead will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, establish best practices, and drive the adoption of automation across the organization.

    Skills & Experience we are looking for


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


    • Proven experience (5-7 years) in automation testing and test automation framework development.


    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.


    • Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit, etc.


    • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.


    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.


    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.


    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.


    • Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.


    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.


    • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.


    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


    • Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities –

    1. The Automation Lead will be responsible for automating the regression UI tests, and API tests.

    2. Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols

    3. Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas

    4. Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures

    5. Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas

    6. Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications

    7. Designing and installing software databases

    8. Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.

    9. Identifying quality issues and creating test reports

    10. Participate in post-production implementation verification.
