- Demonstrate flexibility in working nights and weekends as required to support customer needs and meet service level agreements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers using the company's products or services.
- Monitor system health for connectivity, storage, system health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues based on monitoring data and analysis.
- Present and advocate for new ideas or directions in support processes, tools, and monitoring strategies.
- Addressing all escalated customer and infrastructure tickets, with ability to diagnose and close as per customer SLA.
- Prompt and responsible response time, ensuring excellent customer service and continued smooth internal operational workflows.
- Submitting weekly, monthly reports as needed by management for KPI measurements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Science, Systems Engineering.
- 2+ in a technical support role.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, routing, subnets, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Project Management/Support Platforms such as Atlassian Suite, (Jira Service Desk, Jira, Confluence).
- Experience working with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, and Prometheus.
- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, and Oracle, including database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with the Microsoft Suite: Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel.
- Experience with updating, tuning and authoring documentation.
- Nice to have: experience with container technologies such as Docker.
- Nice to have: experience with Linux OS.
- Nice to have: knowledge of scripting languages; Shell, Python.
- Nice to have: knowledge of Cloud; Azure, AWS, GCP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
