    PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

    This role aims to assist SAP customers in understanding the capabilities and business value of the SAP Business Network, particularly in supply chain and direct material procurement. The Solution Advisor plays a key role in understanding prospective customers, providing compelling solution demonstrations, and serving as a trusted advisor through strong business acumen and product knowledge. This position involves helping customers envision end-to-end business processes involving multiple applications. The Solution Advisor participates in sales cycles as a member of the virtual account team, engaging with customers through various interactions such as executive meetings, solution demonstrations, and presentations.

    EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

    Product Experience:

    • Expert understanding of end-to-end core business processes related to collaboration with material suppliers and manufacturers.
    • Ability to facilitate customer discussions and elaborate on proposed improvements.
    • Good understanding of broader Business Network solution areas including Commerce Automation, Logistics, and Asset Collaboration.
    • Knowledge of different planning solutions, technical integration options, and invoicing processes.
    • Ability to demonstrate solutions in a business value-oriented context.

    Deal Support

    • Compose and deliver sales presentations covering SAP solutions to prospective customers.
    • Collaborate with sales teams on deal strategy and support pre-sales tasks.
    • Provide support for initial customer discoveries and complete sections of responses to RFIs and RFPs.
    • Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations in support of sales cycles.
    • Communicate business requirements to the implementation team post-sale.

    Demand Generation

    • Participate in lead generating activities and account strategy sessions.
    • Support SAP Partner development to drive partner sales.

    Sales Readiness

    • Stay updated on all new solution updates and competitive solutions.
    • Actively participate in the Solution Community of Practice and mentor other Solution Advisors.

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • University degree.
    • Business expertise in Supply chain planning and/or execution.
    • Highly self-motivated with strong communication skills.
    • Languages: Proficiency in business English.
    • Ability to create and deliver technical presentations and explain complex information.
    • Travel: No restrictions to global travel. Majority of travel will be in the region.

    WORK EXPERIENCE

    • Five years of selling experience of enterprise class software.
    • Ten years of functional work experience including at least five years in relevant roles.
