    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implementing a privacy governance framework to ensure data compliance with privacy regulations.
    • Developing and reviewing data collection templates, assisting with data mapping, storage, and retention.
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to review project-related data for compliance.
    • Conducting privacy impact assessments when necessary.
    • Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on data protection matters.
    • Reviewing vendor contracts and consents required for project implementation.
    • Providing information and updates to internal governance committees.
    • Managing and conducting regular reviews of the privacy governance framework.
    • Staying informed about privacy law changes and offering relevant recommendations.
    • Developing and reviewing policies, standards, and procedures in line with privacy regulations.
    • Delivering privacy training to different business functions as needed.
    • Driving strategies and initiatives to engage key stakeholders.
    • Implementing, monitoring, and managing consent and requests within service levels.
    • Coordinating and performing data privacy audits and reviews.
    • Collaborating with Information Security and Business units to raise employee awareness of data privacy and security.
    • Maintaining a data security incident management plan for timely incident remediation.

    Functional Competencies:

    • Sound knowledge of data privacy and protection regulations, understanding privacy frameworks.
    • Proficiency in information technology and data management systems.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
    • Familiarity with standards like ISO27701, Privacy security frameworks, and ISO 27001.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

    Education/Experience:

    • MBA in Information Security/Computer Engineering with expertise in IS governance, data security, and privacy.
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in Information security governance and Privacy.
    • Experience in IS and Privacy risk assessment and control reviews.
    • Good knowledge of technology components, software applications, IT infrastructure, security architecture, and frameworks.
    • Certifications such as ISO27701, CDPSE, CISSP, ISO 27001.
