    Job Title: Associate Director of Engineering – Frontend (Mobile and Web) (Bangalore)

    Job Overview

    The Associate Director of Engineering - Frontend Technologies will lead the frontend mobile apps and web for the Hotels Supply team, a critical unit within the Hotels technology division at MakeMyTrip. This team plays a pivotal role in enabling MakeMyTrip hotel partners to actively onboard, manage price/inventory, content, track orders, and settlements. We are seeking a passionate leader who excels in building elegant and scalable technology solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and inspire a team of frontend mobile and web engineers within the Hotels Supply team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
    • Define and drive the technical roadmap and vision for mobile and frontend development
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and backend engineering, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Architect and design robust, scalable, and maintainable mobile frontend systems and components using React Native, Android/IOS and
    • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality frontend features and enhancements, leveraging best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
    • Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency, reliability, and performance across frontend codebases.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance in resolving complex technical challenges, debugging issues, and optimizing frontend performance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
    • Proven experience (12+ years) in mobile and web frontend development, with expertise in React Native, Android, IOS and
    • Extensive experience in a leadership role overseeing frontend teams
    • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, and best practices for web and mobile platforms
    • Proficiency in building and deploying mobile applications using React Native, Android, IOS with a focus on enhancing user experiences.
    • Experience working in an agile development environment, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and iterative development.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Passion for building elegant and scalable technology solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
